Tell us about yourself

Hello everyone, my name is John Fullam originally from Dublin but now living in Co. Kildare. I have a degree in Electronic/Electrical engineering and a post grad in education, so I’m a qualified secondary school teacher but have never practiced in anger. I worked for many years in Ericsson and had the opportunity to work and live in both Norway and Sweden for a number of years which was a great experience.

What made you choose Davra?

The wide variety of industries that Davra are involved with make it a very exciting and interesting place to work. It is clear that Davra is helping to facilitate the development of technologies and industries that will have a big part to play in moving society forward in terms of a better and more sustainable future.

What do you want to achieve at Davra?

I want to help Davra continue to deliver world class projects and products that not only enhance customer goals and expectations but also provide a wider benefit to society. I want to develop my knowledge of IoT and associated applications, continue to learn new and interesting cutting edge developments in technology, and hope to play an important part in Davra’s continued successful growth.

What are your hobbies or interests?

I am a fairly outdoorsy type. I love football and play every week in any weather. I run regularly but more to maintain fitness rather than for the pure enjoyment of it. I’d rather go for a cycle than a run but unfortunately I’m a bit of a fair-weather cyclist. I enjoy hiking, love traveling and also really enjoy skiing. My time in Scandinavia first piqued my interest in winter sports.
