Welcome to Davra Theo!

Technology & problem solving enthusiast

Theo was born in London, but brought up in the south-west of Ireland in lovely Limerick. He has always been interested in technology and how new innovation helps shape the world around us. Due to his interest in technology Theo attended Dublin City University, studying Marketing, Innovation and Technology, of which he is currently in his final year. During the last 16 months Theo has been working with a fast paced Irish startup in the augmented reality sector. This experience further developed his passion for technology and a want to learn more. This gave him a great understanding of what is necessary to succeed.

Theo has joined the Davra team as the Marketing & Business development lead, working with other team members to best promote the Davra brand and it’s partners. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball and hiking. Theo (5”9) is an optimist and still has hopes of going to the NBA one day. We support his optimism.

What made you choose Davra?

I chose Davra as I really resonated with the atmosphere and personality of the company. A youngish, still very hungry company that is in a very exciting space. All of those things really attracted me to want to work here. Plus it’s a big opportunity to learn and work for a great Irish company, and help grow IoT awareness in Ireland.

What you want to achieve at Davra?

I want to contribute to the continued success and growth of Davra, while making friends and learning every day. I have personal milestones I want to achieve of course, but in a company like Davra you very much feel it’s a big team effort. Many cogs turning, each playing their part for the overall success and that’s really what I want to help achieve.

What are your hobbies or interests?

I play basketball on the weekends and enjoy going for mountain hikes when the weather permits. Cooking is a fun hobby for me, not one I’m particularly good at it I’ve been told but it’s the thought that counts.
